oak colored bedroom furniture with brass headboard?

I have all oak-ish looking bedroom furniture. Would a brass headboard go with this?

1. Brass makes things look dated so i would not recommend it. If you have the headboard already try spray painting it brown, black or even silver (glosssy spray paint)
2. enam - because of the sometimes golden hue that oak has, brass is the preferred metal to use with this wood. good luck
3. I think it would look beautiful I love oak and brass together
