How much does a 2 bedroom apartment cost in Edmonton Canada ?

I am moving to Edmonton, Canada early next year for one year contract work and im planning to stay their for 5+ years. Im planning to buy an appartment their as soon as i settle within the first 2 months of arrival. How much is an average modern 2 bedroom appartment cost in canada. My Budget is about 250 000 Canadian Dollars not really interested abt web links ... just want an estimate from people that have bought appartment in Canada .. thanks
