What color should I paint my bedroom really high walls?

I'm redoing my whole bedroom, but I have a little problem, it's a fairly big bedroom, like 20 sq meters, and it has really high walls, like 5.50 mt high, what color should I paint it so it's not overwhelming. I'm looking for a modern, vibrant, kind of pop art look, but that's not blinding at the same time. Thanks!

1. Have a trompe l'oeil mural painted on the ceiling (and/or on the walls). Trompe l'oeil, if you dont know, is a certain technique for painting that makes the painting look real and decieves your eye....I.e., a trompe l'oeil painting of a window would appear as an actual window until you get up close to it. Maybe you could have people coming out of the ceiling through a window, a decrative ballroom design at the top, etc. heres an example of the technique but its on a house... http://www.flickr.com/photos/vnoel/773780/ you could have ''pop'' designs painted on the walls, or have other doors painted to make it look like there are other rooms going off of the bedroom...you could do old comic book designs ... find a painting or photo that you really like and have it painted! well good luck!
