cool bedroom wall designs..? we just moved into this house, and my room has one window, a grey ceiling and a completely, all white wall... what colors would you suggest i should paint my wall? i dont wana paint drawings.. help..

bedroom design help? bedding/wall colours? last night my mom and I went to Sears and we bought this bedding set for my sister (she's 18): http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3585/scan0001ms1.jpg (but it's a lot more yellow in reality) and... although I LOVE it, she thinks its ugly because of the birds on it. Now I'm reconsidering if I should keep the purple one that i have, because my walls are also lilac and it's a lot of one colour. I only bought the purple because it's my favorite colour and my mom and I agreed to repaint my room yellow, but now she doesn't want to spend the money on paint. Now my room looks really odd because I have cherry wood furniture (it's pretty much red), lilac walls, and lilac bedding. should I take my sisters bedding and paint my room yellow? or ... what do you think? Wall designs for a teenage girl's bedroom? My rooms a medium shade of purple, I have a few posters and I just recently painted the phrase "live laugh love" on one of my walls and the word "dream" over my bed. But I want to do more. The paints I have are silver, purple, pink and yellow and i have little tubes of other colors. I don't really want anymore quotes or sayings, but a cool design that's easy to paint by myself would be nice. Plus, I also have a few old polka dotted goodie bags and I used one to cover my windowsill, which looks really cute, but I still have two bags left. Where else could I put them? Interior Design Question? I just moved in and I love the brick walls in my new apartment. It is consistent from living room, kitchen to the bedroom. My question is, my sister who gets the other room insists that it is "OK" to have a different wall design and/ or color to each of the bedrooms or rooms. I disagree. I see houses with different wall colors and i find them inconsistent and less tasteful. Is it acceptable? or a consistent wall color /design is much preferred?

Cute stencil ideas for a slanted wall in my bedroom? I just painted my room a light blue and i wanted to put some stencils on this on part of my wall thats a slant from the top of my wall to the ceiling, its about 3 feet high and goes from one wall to the other the long way. what colours go with copper - bedroom designs? We have really dark copper furniture, that you can make easy mistakes with when designing a room, for example making the room look reaaaally dark which can affect the human mind. Artistic Bedroom- What colors should I choose for my bedroom walls, and bed spread? I am an artist, and have a lot of colorful accessories in my room, such as: a pink paper lantern, a string of colorful Karma flags (blue white, red, orange, yellow, green) from Thailand, decoupaged boxes, my own paintings, etc. I also have a life size mannequin (as creepy as it may sound, it's actually pretty cool). I love to display my photos in frames that I have made, but I also have a lot of black poster frames which showcase a ton of photos, collage-style. I am replacing my double bed with a queen size, am wanting to paint the walls and will obviously be purchasing new linen for my new bed. My carpet is a gray-blue color, but I don't know how much of a problem that is. I am wondering what colors would work well with all of this. I've been searching design websites but they all have so many "rules". I want to keep everything I have in my room right now, except I want to tie it all together with some sort of theme or color. Or is just way too mismatched??

How do I print/copy photoshop graphics on my bedroom wall? I designed some graphics in photoshop using brushes and want them on my bedroom wall but I can't draw at all..what can I do? is there a way to 'paste' them on my wall?? I asked some people if they can do it.. but they only know how to paint plain walls... Is there a way I can print the graphics on some kind of paper and stick them on my wall? kind of like wallpaper but I don't want to cover my whole wall. Where can I find the best help with color and design for my bedroom? I really want to try my hand at decorating my own room but I don't know where to even begin. I cannot decide on an overall theme, but what I have is a room about 12x10 feet with ordinary beige walls and a kind of tan-ish multiloop berber carpet. Design ideas for a bedroom with wainscoting? I'm 15 years old and I'm moving to a new house. My bedroom will have two walls that are pine wainscoting floor-to-ceiling. Also, the carpet is a gray-ish color. Does anyone have suggestions for design ideas or color schemes to go with the pine? I'm not allowed to paint the paneling which is my problem. My initial idea was to paint a wall gold or silver and do the opposite with my bedding. But I found out that looks terrible with the pine.

Any ideas on how to design a teenage girls bedroom? So my room has been white since forever and ive finally decided that i want to paint and design it. I have one idea that i'm working with right now, which is to cover my ceiling in quotes, but i dont know what the base color should be and then what the wall colors should be so that it all will look good together when finished. Any design / color ideas for my small spare bedroom? I have a small spare bedroom that has a twin bed (with a wood frame), an old chest and a couple other pieces that will need to be painted. I was thinking about painting most the furniture along with the wood frame a dark brown. I am still not sure about painting it all but for some reason I think it would work. Is my design idea for my bedroom good and how can I make it better? I just moved into a new apartment. I'm having furniture delivered from Ikea that is black/brown, all with squared edges and simple lines. (Malm, Mikael, & Expedit) Walls are currently (and will probably stay) white. I want my design to be simple Japanese/Asian meets colorful beach house. Bedding, wall decorations, and accessories are to be colorful (think the color wheel from elementary school). By keeping the the colors to bedding and accessories, I want to be able to alternate it with a more zen-like/earth tone style whenever the mood hits me. Would this design work? What colors should I concentrate on or avoid? Is there other advice you might have to make this space amazing?

How to paint circles on bedroom walls.? I'm painting my room and putting circle designs on it, they don't make the stick on kind in the color I want and hand drawing them is not really an option. cream/light red good for small bedroom? Before we moved in seven years ago, my bedroom used to be a baby room so it's pretty tiny. My walls are disgustingly plain white. My curtains are this rich beige color and all my furniture [desk, shelves, bed, etc.] is light wood. My bedsheets are a theme of .. kind of nature mixed with red. Light red stripes with gray-ish green flowers and another gray-ish green sheet underneath. I was thinking of accenting the curtain/window wall with a light red [to go with my bedsheets] and paint the other three walls a deep, cream color with yellow mixed it and possibly a tiny hint of red if there is such a color. decorating a bedroom? I am trying to decorate my boyfriends bedroom and apt. In the bedroom the curtains are black and the bedspread is black with tan and and like a darker brown color design on it. Green bedroom walls, how do i design around it? We are re-doing our bedroom but the walls are a bright green that make it hard to match anything with. We don't want to repaint the walls because my husband's mother painted them before she died. Now my hunt for a comforter has become impossible. Toddler bedroom decor...? My daughter just moved to a "big girl" bed and so I went out and bought her a new bedspread and all white furniture. The comforter is bright pink, lime green, purple, orange and teal. I am trying to decide what color to paint the walls.
