Where can I find a modern looking Murphy Bed in the Chicago area? I am moving into a small studio in the city and need to find a Murphy Bed. I do not want to order one online without being able to see it first. Anyone know of a furniture in or around Chicago that sells Murphy Beds?

Looking for a wall bed that can be flip up to look like cupboard when not used. Anyone knows a shop here? In the US, they've got Murphy Beds and Sico Beds. Need to be Queen/King size for guests. So the student version currently available isn't quite right. Any ideas appreciated. Eg, if you had a contractor build you one before. Buying online for a bed like this sounds scary though. What type of hardware can i use to build a murphy/wall bed and where can i purchase it? I'm planning on building a a twin size vertical disappearing wall bed. I don't know where to get the hardware or even what kind to use in order to have a bed that opens and closes smoothly and easily. Something inexpensive would do the job. I also have this idea of having a desk that unfolds when the bed is closed, but it has to fold up easily when i need to use the bed. I want it to look like its just a desk. I do not want to purchase it because the designs of murphy/wall beds around are really not my style. Any ideas or input would be be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance =]

recommend aerobed or folding bed or sleeper sofa? Which ones are comfortable to sleep on for lengthy visits? My in-laws could stay for 3 months at a time. For the folding beds, I mean those cot-like ones with thin mattresses, not murphy beds.
