What type of bedding should I use with a platform bed? I have just purchased platform beds for all the bedrooms in my home and I'm not sure what type of bedding to buy. I don't want the comforter, quilt, whatever to hang over the platform of the bed as the platform extends past the mattress and is really what I love most about the new beds. How do you keep you bed frame from moving? I have wood floors in my room and my bed is only a bed frame with no head or foot board. Every other night I have to push my bed back up toward the wall because it slides on the floor about 2 inches. I always end up with my pillow down between the wall and the bed. Is there anything I can get from walmart or target that I can put on the bottom or in front of the feet of the bed frame to keep it from moving? I forgot to add, the bed is not on wheels it is on flat footing.

How do I keep the slats in our bed from falling out? Our bed has wooden slats in it and when the slats were bought they were mesured for the bed, but I am not sure when they were purchsed, I got the bed from my parents and they have had the bed for a while. How high does a raised garden bed have to be? I plan to build a raised garden bed in my back yard to grow vegetables (tomatoes, squash, etc.). I am planning to raise the bed only about 5.5" from the ground. Is that enough to make a difference or does the bed have to be higher? How to discreetly get rid of bed bugs? My wife and I live with the inlaws in S.E Asia, the house is normally immaculate. Our bed room is very small with a great deal of books and papers - she has a lot of clothes and little things everywhere. What is an appropriate age to put a child in a bunk bed? A friend of mine has 2 little girls, ages 3 and 2. His wife, on a whim, decided to purchase a bunk bed for them. Is there any way to make a bed level when it sits on a sloping floor? Recently moved into a NYC apartment with a very sloped floor. it's quite small and the current location of my bed is the only feasible part of the apartment in which I can place my bed. Why do cats like to sleep at the foot of the bed? I have two cats. Minnie and Linus. Minnie stays at the foot of the bed. Ocassionally she'll come near my arm and rub her head against it and then go back to the foot of the bed. Linus lays at the foot of the bed but when he see's me open up the comforter to get in he hurries to the spot next to the bed and starts lifting my hand with his head for me to pet him. How could you install a bed and living space in a Dodge Caravan? I am hoping to install a seat that folds down into a bed in my 1996 dodge Caravan as well as curtains and a variety of other live-in options for traveling. Does anyone have any advice or recources I should check out?

What is the best laundry detergent for fine bed linens? I've just got fine bed linens and I have been sleeping much better with them, so I wonder about recommendations of good laundry detergent to wash them in a washing machine that keep the bed linens with this good sleep feeling for a longer time.

How do you train a dog to get off the bed? We have a 60 lb Lab that loves to sleep on our bed. Of course she takes up half of it! How can we get her to stay on the floor and sleep? We tried a dog bed with a treat reward, but she always ends back up into the bed! Plus she eventually chewed up the dog bed!!!!

How to make a home made canopy bed? I have a few idea's on how to do this, I have a solid oak bed.
